This website, currently under development, will serve as an Educational Resource website for the Riley Pediatric Anesthesia Department. This website will be an access point for educational materials produced by the Riley Anesthesia Faculty and Fellows. These resources include powerpoint and keynote presentations, pdf files (articles, scanned documents), word and excel files, videos and images, and podcasts produced by the pediatric anesthesia department. This website will be availble via the internet and will also focus on delivering content for mobile devices such as the iPhone and the iPod iTouch. The goal of this website is to provide easy access to a variety of educational resources, but most importantly those custom resources produced in our own department.

An example resource is provided by the link below to Riley Pediatric Anesthesia Podcast Lecture Series. This podcast requires that you have iTunes installed on your Mac or PC. It does not require an iPod or iPhone. The inital lecture was given by Scott Walker, MD on Sept. 9, 2008 for the Pediatric Anesthesia Fellows Lecture series and is entitled "Anesthesia for Pediatric Closed Heart Procedures." After clicking on the link below the podcast video will download and open in iTunes. Note that the podcast file is 52.2 mB so it may take a few minutes to download depending on your internet connection. After it has downloaded you can click on the link in iTunes to play the video. You can also connect your video iPod/iPhone and add this podcast series to your device.
